“We don't need a word war. We don't fight through the media, but with fists and legs. He is a dangerous boy and hungry for success,” Filipovic told 'He talks too much, and that was never my style'. (Fighters Only)
"I think he (Daley) probably swings more, throws more bombs, and maybe goes more for the knockout. They're both good strikers. Maybe Swick relies more on speed and flurries and Daley maybe more on one punch bombs, combinations, too," commented Kampmann. "They're both good but of course different body types. One guy's short and one guy's tall, but (expletive) it. It's still a fight." (MMA Weekly)
“It’s the number one sporting gross we’ve ever had and only second behind the Rolling Stones in 2005 (for gross ticket sales for any event),” said American Airlines Center general manager Dave Brown at the UFC 103 pre-fight press conference. (MMA Weekly)
After watching that, goose bumps grew all over my arms. I saw a compilation of fight clips and different fighters do there thing. I saw it. I saw the glory. I saw Forest Griffin run across the cage smiling after he choked Shogun. I saw Anderson Silva raise his arms sitting on the top of the fence. I saw what it feels like to win. That's why I need this. I need the feeling of winning back in my heart. I need and I want it. Nothing beats that feeling and I'm going to get it. All those negative thoughts of fighting disappeared and I was back! I felt it in my blood and in my gut. This is what I must do, I want to be a fighter, I want to feel victory. I don't care what the costs are. I will try again. Fall seven time only to rise an eighth! "I was actually surprised." Reilly told FanHouse on Thursday. "I thought we would end up fighting Fedor on CBS, but I thought, like everybody else, that the first CBS show was going to be in the first quarter of 2010, so I kind of thought we were going to fight somebody else between now and then, but doing it first and on CBS is great. (Fanhouse)
FiveOuncesOfPain.com: How do you see this fight playing out in your mind right now?
Jason Riley: I think Tim’s going to end up knocked out again. It’s been proven that he has a weak jaw. He got knocked down by Randy, Andrei, Mercer and Fedor. He’s pretty been knocked down by the same punch, or combination of punches every time. We’ll see what happens. I’m looking forward to it. (5 Oz's)
