"For those people, I feel sorry I had to shut their mouths," he said. "I heard some bull---- radio people say that Nogueira is done, that he's an old guy. Those people have never been athletes and they don't how it is to be one. I hurt my knee and had to train so I didn't want to make it more serious. I fought hurt, and then people talk s---? I feel sorry for them." (Fanhouse)

"I think it's ridiculous," White told Mike Chiappetta on the Inside The Ultimate Fighter podcast. "People think we're anti-competition? We're anti-dumb competition. Doing stupid things like this, putting a 50-year-old guy in the Octagon for the first time, and then going out there putting out press releases like it's a big deal because you signed a 50-year-old Herschel Walker? Are you serious?" (Fanhouse)

Ariel Helwani: How has your life changed since you knocked out Tim Hague last month?
Todd Duffee: My life hasn't changed by any means. I think, you know, my future has changed. I think it's opened a lot of doors for me. Yeah, I go places like CVS, and people are noticing me, and things like that. But that's not a life-changer so to speak, that's just five seconds of your day to shake someone's hand or take a picture maybe. I'm still the same guy. I still got the same bankroll. You know, I'm still doing the same things. I'm back here in the gym right now. I did go to Aruba [recently] to corner Carmelo [Marrero] for the Vengeance tournament. But my life hasn't changed, I wouldn't say. I think it's just my future is a little brighter, and I kind of hit some people's radar, maybe. (Fanhouse)

“Often things can get on top of you but I cannot say that I don’t love this sport,” he told Croatian newspaper Slobodna Dalmacija. “Its hard for me to decide now but I think that I will do these last two fights for UFC. This [fighting] thing is stronger than me. Sometimes the mind says yes but the heart says no.” (Fighters Only)
